SUMMARY:Ciprian Hord - When psychology meets photography
DESCRIPTION:Ciprian Hord is a clinical psychologist and documentary photographer. He is also a PhD student at the Doctoral School of Arts at the West University of Timișoara and an associate lecturer in the Fine Arts specialization (Photography – Computerized Image Processing) at the Faculty of Arts and Design. His long-term photographic projects cover a wide range of themes: monastic communities\, the daily lives of the visually impaired\, politics\, provincial melancholy\, and\, over the last three years\, he has focused on the visual representation of people suffering from mental disorders. His photographs have appeared in various international and national publications (Time\, The Washington Post\, Bloomberg\, Vice USA\, NOOR\, BIF Magazine\, Balkanium\, Scena9\, DOR\, Dilema Veche\, Orizont) and have been exhibited at Emergenze (Rome\, 2023)\, Interfoto (Timișoara\, 2021)\, Politika (Arad\, 2016)\, FotoIstanbul (2015\, 2016)\, Mediafaxfoto Best Of 2010-2011 (Bucharest 2011). SUMMARY:Capturing Moments: Timișoara City Celebration . The InterFOTO Analogue Experience
DESCRIPTION:On August 17\, 2024\, during the #citycelebration in #Timișoara\, the @kabaitan.tm booth transformed into a creative space for the InterFOTO photography workshop. Equipped with single-use analog cameras loaded with black-and-white film\, participants captured the festival’s vibrant atmosphere\, turning everyday moments into works of art.\n\n🎉 While we initially planned to share just 10 cameras\, the enthusiasm was overwhelming! Fifteen people joined in\, including two participants from vulnerable groups\, making the experience even more meaningful for everyone involved.\n\n🔍 Follow along at @interfoto.ro to see these captured moments and watch this project grow.\n\nThe films will be developed\, scanned\, and archived\, and in October\, students from the Photo-Video and Design departments at the Faculty of Arts and Design in Timișoara will create unique content using an AI license purchased just for this project.
